Beginners Yoga

 A great place to start your yoga journey, or to continue from a beginners course.  Beginners Hatha Yoga Classes move slowly and gently through basic postures, breathing and meditation with plenty of time for you to orientate yourself.  With the encouragement and support of patient, kind and friendly instructors, this class is suitable for students who carry chronic pain or restriction of movement as well as those who are new to yoga and seek to build confidence in their ability before joining in with other classes.

Totally do-able Hatha Yoga classes offering a variety of techniques for development of strength, flexibility and lasting calm.  Designed for people who are looking to gently explore their limits through postures and breath work, with the guidance and support of friendly, kind and professional instructors.  Suitable for students at all stages of their practice who enjoy feeling inspired, challenged and ultimately peaceful.
 
While we invite students to modify postures to suit their body, a degree of mobility is required for these classes.  Please check in with us if you are carrying injury or chronic pain which greatly restricts your movement.

A powerful practice to commit to, Rise and Shine Yoga connects you with your limitless potential.  Begin by stretching and energising your body through Viniyoga Inspired Dynamic Yoga practice where emphasis is placed on the flowing movement with the breath into and out of each pose, in addition to the stillness of the pose itself. Breathing practice brings peace and clarity, and class ends with a period of seated meditation, reflection and setting of intention.  

Leave feeling great, with a positive outlook and clear direction for what lies ahead.  Suitable for busy people who can flow through a sun salute and smile in the morning!

Move and Meditate Yoga

Dynamic Yoga class inspired by the therapeutic practice of Viniyoga which eases you into classical postures via flowing movement with the breath.  Building towards strong holds to safely and intelligently develop strength and flexibility of body and mind.  Start where you are, with the mind and body that you have and patiently move to an empowered space of compassionate self awareness.  Class finishes with a long (15-20 minute) guided Meditation to bring deep peace and relaxation.

Suitable for students of all ages, but not suitable for students who have difficulty moving from the floor to standing.

Slow Flow Yoga

Saturdays 3:00 – 4:00pm
Sundays 4:00 – 5:00pm

A slow moving practice inspired by Yin and Kundalini Yoga Traditions to nurture your soul and recharge your energy.  Be gently guided through long holds and deep stretches giving ample time for you to find your pose and surrender to stillness.  Suitable for students at all stages of their yoga practice who seek to enhance patience, stamina, strength and flexibility with time to connect inwardly in a serene and peaceful environment.

Teacher: Lisa (Belinda will teach when Lisa takes maternity leave)

Stretch and Restore Yoga

Thursdays 7:15 – 8:30pm
Cost:  Term Pass $180.00, Unlimited Membership $30-/week, Casual $22.00 

A slow-moving Iyengar Inspired Yoga class with a strong focus on the physical body.  Receive specific alignment cues in active postures which promote deep stretching, followed by supported restorative postures which will leave you feeling deeply relaxed and fully restored.  This class moves into and out of postures step by step making it great for beginners and students carrying injury.  Suitable for students who seek grace and ease in movement, enhanced awareness of body and mind, and to immerse in a place of peace and calm.

Friendly, gentle fitness for body, mind and spirit. Dru Yoga for Women is a nourishing, easy to learn style of yoga that is suitable for everybody. This style is especially accessible to more senior ladies, those experiencing chronic illness, recovering from injury or suffering any pronounced restriction of movement. This class is a fabulous community of women joining together in movement and meditation to find their vitality, their health and their ability to be.
